Larry Hudson died of heart failure August 28, 2003 at the University of Washington Hospital in Seattle, Washington. He was 67.He was born September 6, 1935 in Absarokee, Montana to Clarence and Phyllis (Gourley) Hudson.Larry married Delores Payseno-Ahl July 5, 1984 in Reno, Nevada.He served the in U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957.Larry retired from Local 26 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters United Association; and, was the current owner of Red Dog and Blue Goose Taverns.He enjoyed flying and car restoration; was a member of Eagles Aerie 2338; and, a member of Local 26 Plumbers/Fitters United Association. He was an avid shuffleboard player and gardener.Larry is survived by his wife, Delores (Payseno-Ahl) Hudson of the Port Orchard, Washington family home; son - Lenny Hudson of Bellingham, Washington; step-sons - Kevin Ahl, Kennen Ahl (both of Port Orchard); daughters - Kelly Hawkins and Laurie Helms (both of Port Orchard); brother - Robert Hudson of Arizona; Sister - Dea Bienhoff of Everett, Washington; and, 8 grandchildren: Kyle Hudson of Bellingham, Washington, Kory Hudson, Kellen Hudson, Kirstin Hawkins, Rielly Hawkins, Brittany Helms, Danielle Helms, Chloe Helms (all of Port Orchard, Washington. Larry was preceded in death by his son - Kerry Hudson and by his first wife - Elizabeth Hudson.A service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Thursday, September 4, 2003 at 1:00 p.m.Committal will follow at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard, Washington.
