Laurie Storey

Laurie Alexis Storey, 52, of Gig Harbor, WA, died May 16, 2002, at home in Gig Harbor.Laurie was born May 11, 1950, in Enumclaw, WA, to August and Donna (MacKay) Opitz. She graduated from Cleveland High School in Portland, OR, in 1968.Laurie worked in retail sales and as a credit support staff person. She enoyed camping and outdoor activities with her grandchildren.She is survived by her companion Jim Wilbur, of Gig Harbor, WA; father August Opitz, of Woodburn, OR; sons Michael Anthony Willis, of Seattle, WA, and Jason Willis, of Puyallup, WA; brother Marvin Opitz, of Woodburn, OR; sisters Lee Bick, of Gig Harbor, WA, Diane Lung, of Battle Ground, WA, Paula Koenig, of Canby, OR, and her twin Patricia Hollander, of Seabeck, WA; grandchildren Mark Bolster, Amber Benedict, Shalyn Benedict, Tamara Willis, and Erin Willis, all of Puyallup, WA. Laurie was preceded in death by a sister Linda Gaven in June of 1995.A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2002, 1:00PM, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Belfair, WA. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
