Lawrence "Larry" Michael Hembd

Lawrence “Larry” Michael Hembd, b. June 11, 1968 Stuttgart, Germany - d. December 7, 2019 Port Orchard, WA. 51 years old. Larry’s early years saw him moving around the United States and Germany as the first born of an Army family. Each time he moved he made friends that became life long companions, people he would run into wherever he went as an adult touring the US with various bands he worked for and played with. Larry was known for his intense love of music, nimble fingered and gifted, particularly with the heavy metal sound of electric guitars. “Skaree” Larry’s friends knew him to be loyal – the guy who always had your back in a tough situation or helped you fix your car. Larry was the father of two boys, Liam and Konnor Lucas (b. December 26, 2003 – d. April 1, 2004). He is survived by his son Liam, his parents Len and Mary Hembd, and his siblings Darren and Lisa.
