Lawrence Roberts

Lawrence F. “Larry” Roberts, 89, of Bremerton, WA, died February 26, 2010. He was born December 15, 1920 in Herndon, Kansas. He married Bea Roberts on August 6, 1945, in Seattle, WA. Larry served in the United States Navy in the Aleutian Islands where he flew PBYs. He retired in 1964 as a Lieutenant Commander. After the war he worked for the Seattle Post Intelligencer and retired in 1984. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bea Roberts. He is survived by seven children; two sons, Steve of Poulsbo, WA, and John of Seattle; five daughters, Mary Lou Beard of Tacoma, WA, Patrice DiCasparro of Kirkland, WA, Laurie Easton of Seattle, Kathie O’Brien of Seeley Lake, Montana, and Carrie Epps of Eldorado Hills, California; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A funeral service and interment were held at Twin Firs Cemetery in Belfair, WA. Arrangements were made by Rill’s Life Tribute Center.
