Leona Prichard

Lenona M. Prichard of Port Orchard, Washington died September 9, 2004 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. She was 82. She was born September 25, 1921 in Sargent, Nebraska to Elwin and Emma (Christensen) Davis. Leona married George E. Prichard April 6, 1942 in Port Orchard, Washington. She graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington in 1940. Leona was a member of the Ladies of Elks #1181 Bremerton, Washington, Son's of Norway, and Children's Hospital Guild. She enjoyed dancing and sewing. She is survived by husband - George E. Prichard of the Port Orchard, Washington family home; sons - Stephen Prichard (& wife, Sharon) of Port Orchard, Washington, George Prichard, Jr. (& wife, Patti) of Chico, Washington; daughters - Marilyn Fleenor (& husband, Michael) of Spokane, Wahington, Kathryn Todd (& husband, Alan) of Port Orchard, Washington; sister - Marian Rickett of Port Orchard, Washington; grandchildren (9): Loraine Prichard, Barbara Ablitt, David Prichard, Kevin Prichard, Brooke Dillon, James Paulus, Michelle Ford, Jeffrey Paulus, Ashley Todd; great-grandchildren (10). She was preceded in death by brother - Paul Davis. A memorial service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2004.
