Leopoldo Sembrano,

November 15, 1925 — January 8, 2012

Leopoldo "Leo" M. Sembrano, Sr., 86 of Port Orchard, died in Bremerton on January 8, 2012.  He was born November 15, 1925 in Castillejos, Zambales, Philippines to Pantaleon & Carmen (Mojica) Sembrano.  He earned a Bachelor’s of Law and a Master’s degree in Civil Law.  He married Adoracion “Dory” Fernandez on July 2, 1968. Leopoldo practiced and taught law in the Philippines and worked in Equal Employment Opportunity for Kitsap County and Continental Airlines, officially retiring in 1982.  He enjoyed reading, traveling, fishing , and above all “eating” good food.  He was a member of the Christian church in Silverdale, WA. Surviving are wife Dory; sons Edwin (Emper) of California, Leo, Jr. of Moscow, Russia and Gilbert of Jersey City, NJ; sisters Aurora Sembrano Pineda and Felicidad Sembrano Abrena; grandchildren Erika Ramona Sembrano and Edward Anthony Sembrano. Public visitation from 12:00 Noon to 5:00 pm on Thursday & Friday, January 12th and 13th, 2012 at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
