He was 75.He was born September 17, 1927 in Lansford, North Dakota to Erick and Pearl (Johnson) Bjorkheim.He married Gloria (Leach) Bjorkheim July 2, 1974 in Port Orchard, Washington.He attended South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington.LeRoy served in the U.S. Army from September 29, 1950 to January 25, 1951.He worked as a foreman machinist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard retiring September 17, 1982.He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Leach) Bjorkheim, of Port Orchard, Washington; son - Kenneth Bjorkheim (& wife, Lejeaun) of Tacoma, Washington; step-sons - Donald Johanns (& wife, Carolyn) of Tahuya, Washington and Michael Johanns of Port Orchard, Washington; daughters - Debbie Geary of Port Orchard, Washington, Carolyn Johanns (& husband, Donald) of Tahuya, Washington; Step-daughters - Linda Johanns, Rebecca Bittle (& husband, Randy) of Tri-Cities, Washington; brothers - LaVerne Bjorkheim of Port Orchard, Washington, Curtis Bjorkheim of Olympia, Washington; sisters - Eunice Bucholz, Irene, Shirley Stevens, Elaine Naddeo (all of Port Orchard, Washington); 7 grandchildren; LeRoy was preceded in death by daughter - Marilyn Walston, step-daughter - Roberta Bevens and daughter - Rhonda Bjorkheim.A funeral service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on April 26, 2003 at 2:00 p.m.Interment will be held at Sunset Lane Memorial Park.Memorial donations may be made to:Bethany Lutheran Church 151 Tremont W.Port Orchard, WA 98366
