Lillian Alice Wilson

Lillian A. “Liz” Wilson, of Port Orchard, died August 16, 2011 at the ripe old age of 99.  She was born December 23, 1911 in Seattle (Ballard) WA to William &Sadie (Ward) Herdman.  She graduated from North Kitsap HS in 1932 and attended Metropolitan Business College in Seattle.  She married Jim F. Wilson on December 8, 1963 in Bremerton and he preceded her in death in 1994. Liz retired after 16 years working in Bellingham & Bremerton as a secretary in the medical field.  She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary 2338 in Port Orchard.  She enjoyed baseball, especially the Mariners and dancing in earlier years to the bands in Seattle, and numerous trips to Reno supporting her favorite past time. She is preceded in death by her sisters Louise Wilson and Jackie Root, brothers, Bill Herdman Sr. and Jim Herdman Sr.  Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends.
