Lillian Genoe

Lillian I. Genoe, 88 of Gig Harbor died Oct. 7, 1998 at her home.  She was born Sep 13, 1910 in New York, NY to Frank & Elin Lake and raised in Vancouver, BC.  She graduated from John Oliver High School in 1928.  She was a homemaker and member of Supreme Cootiette; charter member of Puget Sound Seagulls; member of PTA; and Red Cross volunteer.Survivors include 2 sons, Frank of Gig Harbor & Robert of Belfair; daughter Evelyne Hart of Gig Harbor; 2 sisters Edna Christopherson of White Rock, BC and Agnes Nipius of Whonnock, BC; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by husband Harold J. Genoe in 1969.Services were held on October 10, 1998 at Peninsula Baptist Church in Gig Harbor with interment at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.  Memorials may be made to Grand of Washington Cootiettes Hospital Fund, 7911 Boone, Spokane, WA 99212.'
