Lillian Hower

Lillian Frances Hower, 89 of Bremerton, died June 21, 2010.  She was born October 15, 1920 in Morris town, TN to Henry & Ida (Tuck) Fulgham.  She graduated from Bremerton HS in 1938 and attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.  She married Glen R. Anderson in September 1944 and he preceded her in death in 2000.  She married Robert Hower on October 27, 1968 and he also preceded her in 2008.  Lillian retired after 60 years as a Nurse in the Port Orchard and Bremerton areas.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and loved her little dog Joey. Surviving are stepson Norman (Margaret) Hower of Gig Harbor, WA; daughters Jeanie (Jack) Andersen of Tenino, WA, Janie (Ron) Mathews of Belfair, Wa, Suzanne (David) Graham of Port Orchard, & Eileen (Rick) Miller of Federal Way, WA; 19 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by sister Irene Shaffer and stepson Richard Hower. Celebration of Life Service at 1:00pm on Friday, June 25, 2010 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard followed by Graveside service at Sunset Lane Memorial Park.
