Lillian Marie Moore died May 20, 2002 at Belmont Nursing Home in Bremerton, WA. due to a long term battle with cancer. She was 81.She was born February 20, 1921 in Portland, OR to Henry and Marie (Selle) Rutz.She attended school in Portland, OR.Lillian married Kenneth (Bud) C. Moore October 22, 1938 in Portland, OR.She completed 8th grade in Portland, OR.Lillian was a homemaker for 64 years and interests were in family, gardening and working crossword puzzles and being an avid sports fan. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.She is survived by Son Kenneth H. Moore (Nancy) of Walla Walla, WA., Son Paul K. Moore (Kathy) of Federal Way, WA., daughters: Sharon L. Timme of Kent, WA., and Linda P. Eisenauer of Lynnwood, WA., sisters: Caroline Brannon of West Linn, OR., Virginia Tuten of Gladstone, OR., Melba Rutz of Spokane, WA., 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Lillian was preceded in death by husband Kenneth C. Moore, daughters - Carol A. Filce and Michele D. Lamey, brothers - Jerome Rutz and Walter Rutz, sister Lorraine Eldin.Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.A memorial service will be held at Rill Chapel Monday June 3, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. There will be a private family viewing.
