Lillie Malone

Lillie Alice Malone died January 13, 2003 at the Port Orchard Care Center in Port Orchard, Washington. She was 85.She was born May 30, 1917 in Colony, Oklahoma (Cado County) to Gustave Zerger and Maria (Schwartz) Zerger.She attended Monroe High School in Monroe, Washington.Lillie married Donald Malone November 18, 1949 in Colby, Washington.She enjoyed bowling, handcrafts, gardening and books. She was an avid reader.She is survived by her husband, Donald C. Malone, of the family home in Belfair, Washington; daughters - Elaine Rundstrom of Lincoln City, Oregon and Sue Potts of Newport, Oregon; step-daughter - Kathleen Cook of Vallejo, California; Step-son - Dale Malone of Aptos, California; 13 grandchildren; and, 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: First husband - Thomas A. Porter, son - Michael A.
