Linda Butterfield

Linda M. Butterfield died October 14, 2003 peacefully at her home surrounded by family after an extended battle with cancer. She was 51.She graduated in 1970 from Sunset High School in Hayward, California; and attended Bates Vocational College in Tacoma, Washington.Linda married Michael "Mick" Butterfield in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 20, 1995.Linda was a nurse for 7 years; and, took a Medical Retirement in 1999.She enjoyed fishing, camping, arts and crafts, Bible study group, children's cancer camp.Linda was a member of the United Methodist Church.She is survived by her her husband, Michael "Mick" Butterfield of their Port Orchard, Washington home; parents, Elbert Leon and Marlene Suzanne (Wendt) Kees, of Olalla, Washington; son - Kevin Jon Darcey (& wife, Kim) of Port Orchard, Washington; daughter - Kymberly Kay Darcey; brother - Steven Mark Roux of San Francisco, California; sisters - Susan J. Keller (& husband, Robert) of Huntington, Oregon, Karen L. Kees of Gig Harbor, Washington; 2 grandchildren (Devyn D'Andre Darcey of Port Orchard, Washington; Kennedy Paige Darcey of Port Orchard, Washington).A memorial service will be held October 17, 2003 at 3:30 p.m. at the Port Orchard United Methodist Church.Memorial Donations may be made to:Philoptochos Camp Agape NWP.O.
