Linda Viola Collins

Graced our lives from September 26, 1952 to April 18, 2020.
She was born in Gooding, Idaho and spent her childhood in many different states.
She attended John R Rogers High School in Spokane Washington and later earned her GED.
She also attended College in Washington studying welding and law.
One of her significant accomplishments was being a part of the team that started the DWI Victims Panel in Kitsap County.
She was a born caregiver with a big heart, that always had a big smile. She embodied a generous spirit, If you said you liked something, she would literally take it off and give it to you.
Linda's favorite activity was being with family, at barbecues, picnics, birthdays, outings, anywhere she was surrounded by her family and children.
Her hobbies included beading, jewelry making, and gardening. She was surround be plants that reflected her love for all colors of the rainbow. She thought of herself as a beatnik, but her family would say a flower child of the sixties.
She was preceded in death by her Father Ray Lloyd Collins, Mother Mary Elizabeth Strand, and brother Donnie Collins
And survived by Sister Kathey Douglas, and brothers Charlie Collins,and Steven Collins
Children Rose Gallagher, Harry" Charley" Matson Jr. , Tommy Matson,and numerous grandchildren , and great grandchildren.
She had so many others ,those she adopted into her heart and life when they walked through her door.

She never knew a stranger and was loved by all so every memory of her includes her love for others, generosity and kindness.
