Linda Kathleen Randel of Olalla, Washington passed away on Friday, January 8th, 2021. Linda is preceded in death by her Father John Mark Evtuch, Mother Amelia (Mildrid) Evtuch, and Nephew Adam King.
Linda was born in Hackensack, NJ in 1946. She grew up there and attended Hackensack High School in Hackensack, NJ. Then later graduated with het Bachelor's in Science at Monmouth College in NJ. Linda volunteered for the United States Coast Guard while in Hawaii and spent her career at PSNS in Bremerton, Washington where she retired in 2006. Linda dedicated her life to taking care of her daughter, her son, Jeff and their home.
Linda was a part of the senior center and book club in Port Orchard, Washington where she spent time with close friends. Linda spent time reading, and completing crosswords, and puzzles on her tablet or phone. She also liked to go play bingo with her son in memory of her mother. Every football season Linda, Jeff, family and friends sat outside by the fire to watch the Seahawks games. She was well known for her green thumb and loved to garden at home.
Linda loved to travel with Jeff and see different destinations. Linda spent as much time as she could with Jeff on their boat, The Starfisher, on the Hood Canal. Many great memories were made with family and friends who would join them to catch crab, shrimp, and dig for clams. Linda also loved camping and being outdoors. She loved to cook and often shared her food with her loved ones.
Linda is survived by her Significant other Jeffrey Nagle, Sister Millicent King, Daughter Kim Randel, Son Alec Randel, Grandchildren Shae and Elisa, Great Granddaughter Aleah, Nieces Allison and Mandy, and lots of extend family and close friends.
The celebration of life for Linda will be held later in the spring when the weather gets nicer and covid cases decrease. Please check back on this page for future updates.
