Linda Van Amen (Smith)

Linda Rae Van Amen (Smith) died peacefully at the family home on April 9, 2003. She was 53.She was born May 12, 1949 to Viola Smith in Las Vegas, New Mexico.Linda graduated from Garfield High School in Los Angeles, California in 1969. She attended Los Angeles Community College in Los Angeles, California (2 years) until 1969.She married Theodorus "Dale" Van Amen November 9, 1979 in Seattle, Washington.Linda was the head accountant for Associated Grocers for 18 years.She loved to gamble and loved travelling with family. Her first love was just being with family.Linda was a Christian.Linda is survived by her husband, Theodorus "Dale" Van Amen of Port Orchard, Washington; mother - Viloa Smith of Auburn, Washington; son - Gerald L. Van Amen; brother - Donald Smith of Auburn, Washington; 3 grandchildren (Jorden, Chandler and Nolan).Visitation will be held at Rill Chapels' Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington from 3:30 - 4:30 Sunday, April 13, 2003.A funeral service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center on Sunday, April 13, 2003 at 4:30 p.m.
