Linda Jane Wingard , 71 of Port Orchard, died at Harrison Memorial Hospital on August 22, 2014. She was born January 27, 1943 in Fortworth, Texas to John & Lovella (Kerby) Foster.
Linda was a happy, fun person. She was employed at Costco in El Centro, California before moving to Washington State. Linda loved to play bingo, golf and pool. She liked to sew and cook, experimenting with different food recipes. She loved going to church and then off to lunch or brunch. Her husband and family were the focal point of her life as well as her dog Puffy. Linda loved spending the holidays with family and friends. One of the most exciting things for Linda was driving her big RV. She loved to listen to music from the 1950's, spending time in her swing in the front yard. Some of our fondest memories were at the holidays and our driving trip to Texas. Her laugh and smile will be missed by all, as well as her vibrant personality.
Linda is survived by husband Gary Wingard; brothers Michael (Kathy) Foster, Ernest & Erby Woods; sister Gloria (Jon) Cretton; sister-in-law Sandra Foster; stepdaughters Jennifer Mackintosh & Sandy Hayman; 3 grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother and David Foster.
