Lisa Ann Barker (56) passed away unexpectedly on Friday December 8, 2017. Lisa was born on September 18, 1961 in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Her early career in the Marine Corps brought her to the Pacific Northwest where on June 11, 1994 she married Timothy Barker. Together they made their home in Port Orchard Washington where they raised their son Gary Barker. Always proud of her service to her country she wore her brotherhood with the Marine Corps as a badge of honor. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed outdoor activities including snowmobiling, four wheeling and sailing as well as traveling with her husband and son. Her dedication and loyalty to those she loved was unstoppable. Her smiles and matter of fact attitude will be sorely missed. She has and always will be the standard bearer of all fiery redheads in the world.
She is survived by her husband Tim and son Gary of Port Orchard, her mother Jean of Gettysburg, PA and her two brothers, Greg of Eldersburg, MD and Alan of Gettysburg.
We are hopeful to be able to have a graveside service at Tahoma National Cemetery this summer.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Wounded Warrior Project or your local Humane Shelter.
