Lloyd Granquist

Lloyd W. Granquist, 74 of Belfair, WA., died May 25, 2000 in Tacoma, WA. He was born October 20, 1925 in Port Orchard, WA., to John and Edla Granquist. He attended South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, WA.Lloyd married Betty Jo (Stanley) Granquist August 17, 1946 in Bremerton, WA. He was a sergeant in the US Army and received the Bronze Star. Mr Granquist was a General Contractor for 35 yrs and was Water & Sewer District Commissioner for 17 yrs. Lloyd was Past President of the Kiwanis Club, restored Antique Cars and played bridge. Surviving are his wife Betty; son Richard of Port Orchard, WA; daughter Sandy Wanner of Hillsboro, Oregon; and Kristina Steffen of Federal Way, WA; brothers John of Seattle, WA; and Walt of Port Orchard, WA.Funeral services will be held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, WA. Tuesday, May 30, 2000 at 11:00 AM, interment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation (CRPF) 500 Morris Ave. Springfield, NJ. 07081.
