Lois Blanchard

Lois Katherine Blanchard died December 2, 2002 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. She was 74.She was born March 24, 1928 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Henry and Barbara (Davis )Jacobs.Lois married Gordon Blanchard November 17, 1967 in Skagway, Alaska. He preceded her in death in 1999.She was a home maker.Lois enjoyed quilting, arts and crafts.She is survived by sons - Harold Keith (and wife Deborah) of Southworth, Washington, Ronald Keith (and wife Kimberly) of Thompson Falls, Montana, Mike McKelvy (and wife Betty) of Ketchican, Alaska, and Brian Blanchard (and wife Michelle) of Skagway, Alaska; daughters - Kristine Skaflestad (and husband Gus) of Hoonah, Alaska and Susan McKinley (and husband Chuck) of Elkgrove, California; brothers - Henry Jacobs of Sunnyside, Washington and Tommy Jacobs of Port Orchard, Washington; sisters - Liz Babalon of Auburn, Washington and Barbara Haynes of Manchester, Washington; and 18 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister - Helen Stevens. There will be a private memorial service.
