Lois Cole

Lois Ann Cole, 79, of Port Orchard died Sunday July 3, 2011 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton.  Lois was born Nov. 5, 1931 in Sherbrooke Township, North Dakota to Milford and Esther (Brekke) Horner.  She married Sterling P. Cole Aug. 6, 1949 in Page, North Dakota. Sterling preceded her in death in 2007.  Lois was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Resthaven Health Care in Bremerton for over 30 years, retiring in 2002. She enjoyed bowling for many years and was an avid Mariners and Seahawks fan.  She also enjoyed time with her grandkids and great grandkids. Lois is survived by a son Dan (Terry) Cole of Port Orchard, daughters Susan (Larry) Bateman of Kennewick, WA, Melinda (Johnny) Warren of Port Orchard, Cindy (Mike) Clement of Ishpeming, Michigan., brothers Bob (Sonja), Jon (Ardys), David (Merna) Horner, of Minnesota., Dennis (Peggy) Horner of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Wayne Horner of Moorhead, Minnesota., 10 grandchildren, 13 Great  Grandchildren, special friends, June and Vernon Nolting & family and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service is pending and inurnment will be at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
