Lois M. Collins, 90, died in Bainbridge Island, Washington on November 10, 2007. She was born March 13, 1917 in Olympia, Washington to Charles & Matilda (Kline) Cooper. She attended high school in Olympia and married William Collins on May 3, 1937 in Seattle, Washington. William preceded her in death. Upon their retirement, Lois & William traveled almost all of the states in the United States, including Hawaii. Lois enjoyed gardening, was a great board game player, loved to cook and entertain, and was an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast. She played the piano and organ at several churches and was a member of Sylvan Way Baptist Church in Bremerton. Surviving are sons Bill (Rita) Collins of Bremerton, Washington, Jim (Suzanne) Collins of Bremerton, Washington, and Jerry (Helen) Collins of Long Beach Washington; sisters Helen (Cooper) Theile of Woodland, California and Clarice (Cooper) Clouse of Olympia, Washington; 9 grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers Bert & Joe Cooper and sister Vera. Memorial service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Sylvan Way Baptist Church in Bremerton.
