Lois Mueller

Dorothy Lois Schauer Mueller of Belfair was born on December 27, 1929 to William & Sara Roseanne (Silver) Schauer in Tahuyeh, Washington. She passed away on January 25, 2004 in Port Orchard, Washington from emphysema. She had attended South Kitsap High School. She married George Buffington in 1947. That marriage ended in 1953. She married Earl Mueller in 1954. That marriage also ended in 1987. Her interests included reading, cooking, crafts and spending time with her family. She was also an avid pro-wrestling and Mariners fan. She is survived by her four sons: John (Linda) Buffington of Puyallup, Allen (Janet) Buffington of Great Falls, MT, Kris (Christine) Mueller of Vacaville, CA, and Leo (Audra) Mueller of Port Orchard; and her three daughters: Barbara Knapstad and Connie (Mike) Lovelace of Belfair, and Kathy Stamm of Santa Maria, CA; her sister Vivian (Harold) Buffington and brother Elmer Schauer, both of Port Orchard. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers: Allen, Frank, Wilbur, Arthur and Robert Schauer and her grandson Glenn Knapstad. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 in Port Orchard at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center.
