Lois Wilkins

Lois E. Wilkins, age 83, died Jan. 12, 2000 in Gig Harbor, WA.  She was born June 30, 1916 in Havre, MT to Henry and Cora Smith.  She was raised in the Olympia area.  She married William Wilkins in Allyn, WA on June 5, 1937 in Olympia, WA.  She was a homemaker.  She worked for the liquor control board in Olympia, WA and then worked in the shipyard during the war.  She was a enjoyed boating and traveling.  She was the secretary of the Womens Auxillary at the Port Orchard Yacht Club and was a member of both orthopedic guilds in the Port Orchard area.  She is survived by her husband William of Allyn, WA., daughters Lorinda Wilkins of Seattle, WA., Jennifer Wilkins of Bellevue, WA., grandchildren Jeffrey Knox, Gregory Knox, and 3 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be at Rill Chapel Jan. 18, 2000 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be at Rill Chapel Jan. 19, 2000 at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
