Louise Jane Heath was born January 14, 1925 on a cold wintery morning in Salt Lake City, Utah at home and lived there until her marriage to Norman Houck Post of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Her parents were well pleased with a daughter after having three sons.
When the war broke out, she quit high school and went to work for a laundry. She had been a waitress, sales clerk, and a secretary.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many positions in Primary, Sunday School, Young Women’s program and Relief Society. She served 8 years in the Seattle temple. She and her husband served a mission in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission.
She liked to do handcrafts, sewing, crocheting, and knitting. In her later years she took up painting and learning to play the piano.
She was the mother of five children. The first girl was premature and died shortly after birth. She had two more daughters and two sons. She had 44 great-grand children and 14 grand children.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years and I grandchild.
