Lucia Caligdong

Lucia C. Caligdong, 73, of Port Orchard, died May 15, 2009 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. She was born March 4, 1936 in Iloilo City, Philippines to Leoncio & Faustina Caligdong. She married Antonio Caligdong in 1957 in Iloilo City.  Lucia worked at the Washington Veterans Home at Retsil as a CNA for over 25 years. She was also a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church since 1975. Lucia is survived by her husband of 51 years Antonio;  2 sons – Antonio (Leticia) Caligdong  Jr. of Reno and Francisco (Leanne) Caligdong of Graham; 2 sisters – Benita Caligdong of Port Orchard and Merlyn Hernalim of the Philippines and 3 Grandchildren – Markus, Zachery & Matthew. A Funeral Mass will be at noon on Friday, May 22, 2009 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church with a reception to follow.  The family will greet friends at a visitation Thursday evening, May 21st from 5-7pm at Rill’s Life Tribute Center and Friday from 10 until the service at St. Gabriel Catholic Church.   Interment will be at Sunset Lane Memorial Park.
