Lucille "Cindy" Marie Spore, 69, died on September 14, 2006 at her home in Port Orchard, Washington after complications from cardiac surgery. She was born in Lewiston, Idaho on February 14, 1937 to Charles F. & Pearle A. (Button) Shawley. She graduated from Bremerton High School in Bremerton, Washington in 1955 and attended Olympic College, also in Bremerton. She married Garry Spore who predeased her in 2001. Cindy retired after more than 30 years as a Bookkeeper for the South Kitsap School District. She was Past President of Friends of Givens Senior Center, Venn-Watson Orthopedic Auxiliary, and Puget Sound Genealogical Society. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and traveling. She loved her family and was also a true animal lover who enjoyed the company of many loyal pets throughout the years. Cindy is survived by sons Brian (Tracy) Fantz of Port Orchard and David Spore; daughters Vicki Pelton of Sammamish, Washington and Tami Spore of Seattle; sister Helen Ulrich of Lewiston, Idaho; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; dearest friend Joan Kaul of Port Orchard; and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by sons Bruce & Randy Fantz, brothers Billy & Bobby Shawley, and sister Carol Hardon. A Memorial Service will be held at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard on Friday, September 22, 2006 at 2:00 pm.
