M. Kilpatric

M. Elaine Kilpatric, 86, died at her home in Port Orchard, Washington on May 7, 2001. She was born in Colfax, California on January 6, 1915 to James & Alice (Bomar) Patten. She graduated from Corona High School in Corona, California in 1933. Elaine married Hugh T. ''Pat'' Kilpatric on June 3, 1934 in Otterbine, California. He preceded her in death in 1992.Mrs. Kilpatric retired after more than 50 years in the Funeral Service industry. She was an artist who worked with oil, water, and charcoal and enjoyed time with her family.Surviving are daughters Karen Castro of Santa Cruz, California and Beverly Westfall of Port Orchard, Washington; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.Funeral service will be on Friday, May 11, 2001 at Pacific Garden Chapel in Santa Cruz, California with interment at Oakwood Cemetery in Santa Cruz.
