Madeleine Tripp

Madeleine L. Tripp died at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington September 18, 2002. She was 70.She graduated from Hillsboro High School in Tampa, Florida in 1949; and, attended Teachers's College in Minot, North Dakota.Madeleine married Theodore Tripp October 16, 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida.She was Personnel Manager in the Exchange Service for 17 years - retiring in 1981.Madeleine enjoyed sewing clothes, was an excellent gardener (flowers), enjoyed trips in the 5th wheeler to Arizona with her husband after they both retired in 1981.She is survived by her husband Theodore Tripp; sons Ted Tripp of Redding, California and Michael Tripp of Port Orchard, Washington; daughter Jaqueline Ahmann of Vancouver, Washington; brother Robert Brown of Denver, Colorado; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.A graveside service will be held at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard, Washington Saturday September 21, 2002 at 11:00 a.m.
