Madeline Gallagher

Madeline Corrine Gallagher, 97 of Port Orchard died November 11, 2011 at Hospice Care Center in Bremerton. She was born April 4, 1914 in Norway, MI to Joseph and Anne Valentine. She married Paul Gallagher August 9, 1932 in Council Bluffs, IA. They moved to Bremerton in 1942.    Madeline retired from Keyport Naval Station in 1976. She moved to California for 20 years, before returning to Kitsap County. Madeline is preceded in death by husband Paul, daughter Pat Hill, 3 grandsons Michael & John Gallagher and Steve Hill. She is survived by her son James Gallagher; son-in-law Jim Hill; grandchildren Bryan Gallagher, Kathy Welch & Susan Wallace; great-grandchildren Justin, Lauryn & Colin Gallagher, Shawn & Karrisa Danubio, Dillon & Danny Welch, and Sara Antinora. The family would like to thank all the wonderful personnel at Stafford Suites and Hospice for their caring, compassion and friendship during her stay.
