Maida Sorlee

Maida Genevieve Sorlee of Port Orchard, Washington died in Bremerton, Washington October 30, 2004 due to Congestive Heart Failure. She was 86. She was born August 21, 1917 in Spokane, Washington to Olaf and Carrie (Haugsvar) Sorlee. She graduated from Garfield High School in Seattle, Washington in 1937. Maida worked as a housekeeper for 25 years retiring in 1960. She enjoyed gardening, hiking and the outdoors. She also enjoyed bird watching, Norweigen picnics and socials in Seattle. Maida is survived by sister - Esther Pilch of Port Orchard, Washington; niece - Patti Pilch of Port Orchard, Washington; nephew - John Pilch of Palmer, Alaska; cousins - Sonja Larsen of Seattle, Washington and Edward Haugsvar of Seattle, Washington. She was preceded in death by brother - Oswald Sorlee in 1992. No public service is to be scheduled.
