Maralee Yvonne Logan

Maralee Yvonne Logan, 78 of Bremerton, passed away April 1 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Gig Harbor after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 12, 1934 to Orie Glen Johnson and Mary Avalon Bessant in Bremerton WA. She attended school in Belfair and married Eugene Victor (Buck) Logan on May 11, 1955 in Port Orchard.
Maralee was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Tacoma, WA and enjoyed Bible study, bird watching, gardening, quilting and pampering her pets.
She is survived by sons Roy Logan of Bremerton and Jeffery Logan of Belfair; daughters Denise Walker (Thomas) of Rochester, MN, Mary Dalziell (Paul) of Port Orchard, WA and Diann Meriwether (Scott Hiney) of Nunnelly, TN; sisters Glenda Burkman of Auburn, WA, Beverly Harnish of Collins Lake and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 35 years, Eugene Logan.
Memorial Service at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, with the Reverend Richard DeMass of Faith Presbyterian Church officiating. Memorials are suggested to Animal Rescue Families, Bremerton WA. To all who knew her and loved her, she will be missed.
