Margaret Hutchison

Margaret Genevieve Hutchison, 68, of Port Orchard, WA, died April 22, 2003, at her home.She was born to George and Genevieve (King) Rainey on June 13, 1934, in San Francisco, CA. Margaret graduated from Lincoln High School in San Francisco in 1952. She then attended the University of California (Berkeley) and later received her bachelor's degree from Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, NV.She and her husband, Glen F. Hutchison, were married August 13, 1955, in Berkeley. They made their home in Decatur, GA; Stanfield, OR; Othello, WA; Incline Village, NV; and Port Orchard, WA.Margaret was a homemaker, instructional aide and teacher. She enjoyed traveling, cross-stitch, working with children and volunteering at church, in the public schools and at the public library. She was a member of Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Gig Harbor, WA.She is survived by her husband, Glen; her daughter, Laura Christianson and husband Robert, of Snohomish, WA; her son, Andrew Hutchison and wife Amy, of Port Orchard, WA; four grandchildren, Ben and Joshua Christianson, and Erin and Alex Hutchison; and her sister, Geri Martin, of Shingletown, CA.A memorial celebration service will be held at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Gig Harbor, WA, on Saturday, April 26, 2003, at 11:00AM.In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a ministry of your choice at your local church.
