Margaret "Peggy" Josephine Duffey

Margaret (Peggy) J. Duffey was born to Mary and Daniel Creaney on December 31, 1941 in Anaconda, Montana. She passed away December 18, 2018 in her home in Port Orchard.
Peggy moved to Bremerton in 1966 with her husband, William Monahan. In 1971, she married Roy Duffey and moved to Port Orchard.
Peggy worked with family at Hi Joy Bowl and All Star Lanes & Casino from 1989 until her passing. She liked to bowl, read books, have dinner on Mondays at Uncle Dave’s Café, and take short trips to the casino with her work friends. She also enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, William Monahan, her husband, Roy Duffey, her mother and father, Mary and Daniel Creaney, and her sister, Marybeth Hess. Peggy is survived by her kids; James Monahan and Denise McMahon, Robert Monahan, Laurie and Tom Myers, her grandkids; Tommy and Leanne Myers, Tim and Lindsey Myers, Kylie and Jonathan Hicks, Megan McMahon and Aaron and Jeannie McMahon.
Services will be held on Friday, January 4th at 1:30pm at Rill Chapel’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
