Margot Christman, 49 of Port Orchard, died in Bremerton on April 2, 2011. She was born July 19, 1961 in Bittigheim-Bissingen, German to Paul & Elizabet (Lang) Houser. Margot worked as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor with Shick-Shadel Hospital, retiring in 2009. She enjoyed quilting, geneology, online gaming and her cats “Salsa”, “Willow” and “Spiderman” and her dog “Dusty”. Surviving are companion Phillip Slater of Port Orchard; sons Lawrence Christman of Las Vegas, NV, Michael Christman of Port Orchard, and John (Brittani) Slater of Vancouver, WA; daughters Melanie Kemp (Laudicia Codrean) of Phoenix, AZ and Cassie Schimpf of Portland, OR; sister Renate (Harry) Stueber of Obermoschel, DE; grandchildren Nyah, Carol Jean & TJ; and special friends Cheryl, Patricia, Debbie, Todd. Special thanks to the staff & volunteers at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, especially Dr. J. Specht, D. Forman, RN, Dr. J. Kim; staff at UWMC particularly the 7NE & 7SE nursing staffs; staff & volunteers at Hospice of Kitsap County, Homewatch of Scottsdale, AZ; and finally & sincerely, the entire staff at Watermark Credit Union.
