Marguerite Litsch of Port Orchard, Washington died Tuesday, September 7, 2004. She was 87. She was born May 20, 1917 in White Cloud Township, Missouri to Loren and Edith (Wood) Moody. She married Glen O. Litsch June 27, 1937 in Elmo, Missouri. He died in 1980. Marguerite graduated from Maryville High School in Maryville, Missouri in 1936. She was a tennis star! She was a cook at Myhre's Restaurant in Port Orchard, Washington for 20 plus years. Marguerite was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 36 1/2 years; had the time of her life traveling around the state to all the auxiliarys with the then president (Martha Hall); was an avid bowler, won many trophies; was Cub Scout Leader for over 10 years; was a cake decorator - made all types with a flair for novelty cakes; was a great cook - some of her specialities were: clam chowder, pistachio salad; took her drivers license at the age of 60 and drive she did; she loved getting together with family and friends, earrings, collecting recipes, raspberries, the color purple, Baileys insh creme and a good joke . . . she will be missed She is survived by son - Larry Litsch (wife, Jorgie) of Silverdale, Washington; daughter-in-law - Liz Litsch of Gig Harbor, Washington; 8 grandchildren (Michele, Leann, Linda, Patty, Renae, Jeff, Will, Diana); 8 great-grandchildren (Brinton, Brittany, Ashley, Shelby, Joey, Mackenzie, Madison, Allysa). Marguerite was preceded in death by children (Ruth Charlene, Glenda, Charles) and by siblings (Marvin, John, Loren, Raymond, Catherine).
