Marguerite Russell

Marguarite H. Russell, 81 of Silverdale, Washington died at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton on September 11, 2005. She was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on March 6, 1924 to Thomas & Adele (Ashdown) Crawford. She graduated from both high school and college in Canada. Marquarite married John E. Russell in King County, Washington on February 4, 1956. He preceded her in death in 2000. Marguarite was a homemaker who also worked as a seamstress and registered nurse. She was a Bluebird and Campfire Girl Leader and was active in the Bainbridge Island Saddle Club. She enjoyed reading. Surviving are daughters Laurie Russell of Poulsbo, Washington, Maureen & husband Robert Hagell of Alymer, Ontario, Canada, JoAnne and husband Terry Homuth of Roslyn, Washington; sister Janet Morstad of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
