Maria Zmijewski

Maria Mercedes Zmijewski, 68, of Port Orchard, Washington, died of an acute bronchial asthma attack September 6, 2001, at home.Maria was born on October 17, 1932, in Madrid, Spain, to Antonio and Joaquina (Iglesias) Parda. She was educated in Spain.Maria married Ronald J. Zmijewski, on July 16, 1960, in Madrid. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her children and gardening, and she belonged to the Catholic church.Maria is survived by her husband Ronald, of Port Orchard, WA; a son Ronald W. Zmijewski, of Port Orchard; a daughter Jacqueline Maria Zmijewski, of Port Orchard; three brothers, Antonio Parda, Jose Parda, and Miguel Parda, all of Spain; two sisters, M. Delores Dominguez, of Wichita Falls, TX, and M. Angelus Stora, of Huntington Beach, CA; and one granddaughter.Visitation will be Monday, September 10, 2001, 10AM to 5PM at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard. Services will be Tuesday, September 11, 1:30PM, at Rill Chapel.
