Marian G. Hay, 88 of Port Orchard, Washington died on March 11, 2001 at Forest Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center in Bremerton, Washington. She was born in Lake Preston, South Dakota to Carl & Hannah (Olsen) Gulbranson. Marian graduated from Howard High School in Howard, South Dakota in 1930.Marian worked as a Waitress on Bainbridge Island at golf courses and various other establishments. She was an avid bowler.Surviving are daughters Doris Hamro of Kingman, Arizona, Donna Young of Kingston, Washington, and Kay Jones of Port Orchard, Washington; sister Gladys Shaw of Flandreau, South Dakota; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Francis ''Cy'' Young in 1985.Graveside service will be on Wednesday, March 14, 2001 at 1:00pm at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.
