Marillyn Hawkins

Marillyn L. Hawkins of Port Orchard, Washington died May 22, 2004 in Tacoma, Washington. She was 66. She was born in Oakville, Washington on June 6, 1937 to Howard and Ida (Joyce) Wheeler. Marillyn married Robert E. Hawkins September 19, 1955 in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. She attended Bremerton High School in Bremerton, Washington. Marillyn was a homemaker. She enjoyed family gatherings, Mariners, children and grandchildren, sports, traveling and pal Iddie. She is survived by sons - Edward Hawkins (& wife, Marla) of Gig Harbor, Washington, Shawn Hawkins (& wife, Bambi) of Port Orchard, Washington, Jerry Hawkins (& wife, Valerie) of Bremerton, Washington; daughters - Betty Benson (& husband, Scott) of Ellensburg, Washington, Amy Shurts (& husband, Greg) of Port Orchard, Washington; brother - Tom Wheeler of Rochester, Washington; sisters - Connie Grahn of Bremerton, Washington, Barbie Lloyd of Granite Falls, Washington; 16 grandchildren (Ed's Kids -Tyler, Kyle, Myles; Betty's kids - Brandon, Travis, Randi, Betsy, Kellon; Shawn's kids - Dwayne, Kirstin, Reilly, Megan and Josh; Jerry's kids - Andrew, Ashlee and Lindsey; Amy's kids - Jacob and Madilyn); 7 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center on Thursday, May 27, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at later date in Oakville, Washington.
