Marilyn Louise Lillybridge

Marilyn Lillybridge of Olalla, passed away January 25, 2017 with her children at her side.

She is survived by sons Mark & Jim Lillybridge; daughter Vicki Reed (Merl); grandchildren Anthony Lillybridge, Justin Lillybridge, Lyndsi Reed, Patty Brown, & Jessica Summerfield; great-grandchildren Kerri Anne Dalley, Tyler Dalley, Jiovanni Scharff, Chanse Brown, Ryder Mason, Lilly Mason, Hayden Lillybridge & Jade Summerfield; and sister Nancy Lefcoski. She was preceded in death by husband Jim, grandson Jeffrey & daughter-in-law Marla.

Marilyn was born to Elmer & Jennie Vennes on September 26, 1934. She was a native of Washington and grew up attending schools in Bremerton and graduated from West High School in Bremerton. She married James L. Lillybridge in Bremerton on August 15, 1954. She attended Olympic College’s Nursing program and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She became a mother to her first born, Mark Lloyd Lillybridge on January 31, 1957. Daughter Vicki Lynn was born on October 31, 1958, and lastly James Lorne Lillybridge on October 20, 1960.

Her greatest joys in this life were her family and watching her children grow. She loved camping, gardening, her grandchildren, and her pups. She was married to an avid hunter & fisherman and she loved to clean fish. After her retirement, she became an in home caregiver. She always fell in love with those she took care of. She was an avid word searcher. She loved family gatherings - thanksgiving was her favorite holiday and she loved to host it at her house. Homemade pumpkin pies were one of her specialties.
