Marion Ramona Lorenzen died at home in Port Orchard, Washington on September 19, 2002, of pulmonary failure due to a severe reaction to arthritis medication.She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota February 27, 1923 to Irene Spitzer of Edgely, North Dakota. She was adopted by Dr. Dickenson Ober and Wilhemina E. Wheelock of Crow Wing County, Minnesota.She attended Washington High School of Brainerd, Minnesota and graduated from Bremerton Business College of Bremerton, Washington in 1945.She was a Legal Secretary for 48 years for Greenwood, Shiers and Kruse Law Firm. She retired in 1988. Subsequently she was a hostess for Myhre's Terrace Room for several years.Marion enjoyed gardening (flowers); reading; crocheting; going out to lunch with friends. She was an active member of Jehovah's Witnesses.She is survived by son James W. Reed, of St. Cloud, Minnesota; daughter Carol Diane Geisler of Port Orchard, Washington; 1 grandchild, Shelly O'Groske of Byron, Minnesota and 2 great-grandchildren, Reed and Ryan O'Groske, of Byron, Minnesota; niece, Barbara Beelen of Blaine, Minnesota; and, nephew, Danny Orcutt of Maple Grove, Minnesota.She was preceded in death by sisters - Dorothy Williams and Peggy Wheelock.A memorial service will be held at Kingom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1901 SE Biemeier Rd., Port Orchard, Washington, Saturday September 28, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow at her home (11641 Ridge Rim Trail S.E., Port Orchard, Washington 98367).
