Marjorie (Missy) Kamomialohaokalni Pedersen, WA died January 9th, 2021 at 10:05 pm. Born December 28th, 1945 in Nanakuli, HI. The eldest of fourteen brothers and sisters. She was 75 years old at the time of her passing.
A woman with the deepest and unwavering faith, she dedicated the latter part of her life serving others. An accomplished singer and song writer, who’s voice touched so many lives. She made the semi-finials in Nashville, Tennessee with her band and stage name Missy Brodigan & Country Cookin, in the 1980’s popular nation-wide show Country Star Search. In 1982 she released a single, Annie Barmaid, on a collaboration album The Great Northwest Country album.
Marjorie is survived by her husband RJ, her three sons, John (Yoyo) Missey, Skip (Joanne) Missey, and Bernie (Autumn) Brodigan, stepdaughters Lori Deweese and Melissa (Roger) Whitler, twelve grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She asked to not have a funeral and only to remember her for who she was and her faith in God.
