Marjorie R. ''Marge'' Sandstrom, age 84, died September 5, 2001 in Port Orchard, WA. She was born February 24, 1917 in Chicago, IL to Julius and Rena (Worthington) Rumm. Mrs. Sandstrom graduated from Hyde Park High School in Chicago, IL in 1930. She married Leroy Sandstrom on March 31, 1938 in Chicago. Mrs. Sandstrom was a homemaker. She enjoyed oil painting and microwave cooking instruction. She was a member of the Harper Evangelical Free Church in Harper, Washington. Mrs. Sandstrom is survived by her husband Leroy of Port Orchard, WA., sons Stephen of Puyallup, WA., Donald of Port Orchard, WA., Gregory of Port Orchard, WA., daughter Marcia McRae of Vancouver, WA., 15 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother James Rumm in 1968.Memorial services will be held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, WA., on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery.Memorial donations can be made to the Women's Missionary Society of Harper Church, PO Box Drawer E, Southworth, WA., 98386.
