Marjory Faye Kramer

August 21, 1941 — February 23, 2013

Marjory Fayrene Kramer, beloved wife of Mike Kramer, died Saturday morning, February 23, 2013 in the 71st year of her life. She was born August 21, 1941 in Beaver, OK to Alvin and Deanie Neese. She was brought home to Forgan, OK and lived there until she graduated from Forgan High School in 1959. She was in the band throughout her school years and was very popular with teachers and students. She and her best friend, Kay Eubanks, moved to Amarillo, TX to attend cosmetology school. While attending school, Faye met, fell in love with and married Airman Mike Kramer. They celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary April 21, 2011.
Mike served his country for twenty years in Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Viet Nam, Turkey, Alaska, Germany, and California. Mike was originally from the Pacific Northwest and that is where they chose to settle upon his retirement from the Air Force. Faye was a faithful military wife spending Mike’s assignments in Viet Nam, Turkey, and Alaska in Oklahoma with her parents in Forgan. She held a variety of jobs in the various places they lived and enjoyed meeting people in all walks of life. She and Mike traveled extensively and Faye enjoyed seeing Europe and the United States. One of her favorite places was Las Vegas where she enjoyed the slots and the shows. She and Mike were active in the local classic car club, Kitsap Klassics, and they were very proud of their 1957 Chevy BelAir, Black Rose.
Faye will be missed. She is survived by her husband of almost 52 years, Mike, and her sister, Ann. Also remembering her are a host of nieces and nephews and friends. Faye was loved by those who knew her. No local memorial service is planned. If you want to remember Faye with a gift to the American Cancer Society in her name, it will be appreciated.
