Mark A Belvin passed away on May 8th, 2018 at St. Josephs Medical Center, Tacoma Washington. After struggling with diabetes & heart disease for many years, he finally lost his battle.
Mark was born on May 12th 1952, to Cecil and Charlotte Belvin at Camp Roberts California.
Mark was an avid athlete, he lived and breathed sports. He graduated with a basketball scholarship from Bethel High School in 1970.
Mark married his high school sweetheart, Bonnie S. Brown on November 3, 1973. Together they had two daughters, Christina Sue Belvin and Nicolle Lee Belvin. He is also survived by three grandchildren Trevor M Petty, Gracie L Stockwell, Wyatt A Stockwell and Son-in-law Trever L Stockwell. Mark is also survived by his brothers David Belvin and Bruce Belvin and nephews Mike Belvin, Robert Belvin and niece Anne Hamilton.
Mark was a rigger at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and retired after 28 years. Mark made many friends during his time at PSNS and always had a story to tell. Mark loved BBQing, camping and family get togethers. He also enjoyed horse racing.
Mark had a huge heart and loved his family and friends dearly. He will be greatly missed.
