Marlene Stratton

Marlene M.(Marty) Stratton of Belfair, Washington died March 14, 2005 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington due to kidney failure. She was 66. She was born May 11, 1938 in Oakland, California to Alfred J. and Mabel C. (Soares) Perry. She married Bobby L. Stratton in Fremont, California September 21, 1957. Marlene graduated from Washington Union High School in Fremont, California in 1956. She was a house wife and mother; was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Belfair, Washington and a member of Tops Group 1032 - also of Belfair. Marlene enjoyed painting and music and family. Marlene is survived by husband - Bobby L. Stratton of the Belfair, Washington family home; sons - Mike Stratton (& wife, Maew) of Merced, California, Robert Stratton (& wife, Tina) of Port Orchard, Washington, Tom Stratton (& wife, Jenifer) of Camanche, Iowa; daughter - Kellie Shankey (& husband, Dave) of Salt Lake City, Utah; brothers - Bruce Ahr of Modesto, California, William Ahr (& wife, Ane) of Modesto, California; 9 grandchildren. A funeral will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2005. Burial will be held at Twin Firs Cemetery in Belfair.
