Martha Edman

Martha Viola Edman, 92, of Bremerton, WA, died April 10, 2002, at the Bremerton Health and Rehabilitation Center.She was born on December 1, 1909, in Waterman, WA, to Beda and Peter Lundberg. She attended the Waterman grade school and graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1928.In 1943 she married Erik Edman in Waterman and they moved to Bremerton in 1947.She was a member of Elim Lutheran Church, f:67 Camera Club, The Photographic Society of America, the Kitsap Peninsula Mycological Society, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.Mrs. Edman and her husband have presented many nature slide programs locally, as well as on the West Coast.She is survived by her husband Erik, as well as many nieces and nephews.Services will be at Elim Lutheran Church, 5911 E. Hillcrest Dr, Port Orchard, WA, at a later date. Burial will be at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard. Memorials may be made to Elim Lutheran Church or to the charity of your choice.
