Marvin John Green

Marvin John Green, 82, of Port Orchard, died December 21, 2012 at Orchard Pointe Care Facilty. Marvin was the first child born to Cecil & Matilda Green on October 31, 1930 in the St. Bernard Township of Platte County, Nebraska. On May 6, 1950 he married Loretta Wetterauger of South Bend, Wa. She died in 2003 after 53 years of marriage. He owned many successful building & construction companies and was a long time member at Orchard Hills Golf Club in Washougal, Wa. He loved to fish for salmon, square dance and most importantly spend time visiting with family & friends. Faith was very important to him and he was a longtime member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas. He is survived by his current wife - Pat Weidinger of Camas; Children Steven (Marti) Green of Port Orchard, Randall (Rosanne) Green of Seattle, Gerald (Julia) Green of LaCenter and Stepdaughter Mary Pat (Chet) Weatherl of Camas. Siblings - Carolyn Rutherford of Lebam, Kenneth Green of South Bend, Patricia Heath of Raymond, Jeanette Green of Seattle, Robert Green of Washougal, Sharon Monahan of Pascagoula, Ms and Dennis Green of Raymond. 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren. Graveside services will be held in the spring of 2013 when Marvin's ashes will be laid to rest with his wife Loretta at Fern Hill Cemetery near Raymond, Wa.
