Mary "Jane" Bartos, 91, of Poulsbo died Wednesday at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. She was born in International Falls, Minn., to William and Ella (Lundmark) McLean. She graduated from West High School in Minneapolis, Minn., in 1933. She also attended Virginia Junior College in Virginia, Minn. On June 26, 1933, she married Bob Bartos in St. Paul, Minn. Mrs. Bartos was a homemaker. She also bred, showed and handled dogs. She was a member of the Washington State Scottish Terrier Club and the Washington State Cocker Club. Survivors include her husband of Poulsbo; her son, Michael Bartos; her daughters, Mary Jo (Fritz) Palermo and Judith (Conrad) C. Green; nine grandchildren - Marsh Palermo, Jeff Palermo, Barbara Jo Holterman, Susan M. Beardemphl, C. David Green, Kim Bartos, Kari Bartos, Michael W.M. Bartos, Nathan Bartos; 11 great-grandchildren - Kurtis Palermo, Kristi (Cory) Holien, Nicholas, Anthony, & Alex Palermo, Kelsey & Allison Holterman, Nathan, Taylor & Hannah Beardemphl, Conner, Megan, & Kyle Green; and one great-great-grand daughter Kadie Holien. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rill's Life Tribute Center. Funeral service: 1 p.m. Thursday at Rill's Life Tribute Center. Burial: 12:30 p.m. Friday at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Bellevue.
